The Department of Computer Science was founded in 1972 and now forms part of the Computer Science Division in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Stellenbosch University.
Research and teaching areas include automata theory, software engineering, networking, verification and testing, robotics, natural language processing, and machine learning.
We offer study tracks from first-year to doctoral level and support both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
